| - Before going to this establishment, I looked up other reviews on Yelp and all looked good. Unfortunately, I did not have a similar experience. When I walked in, I asked if they had any deals/discounts for shellac mani and pedi, they did not, but said the total would be $55 for both. I was immediately brought to a chair, however I sat waiting for over 15minutes before anyone started anything. They started with my pedicure, which was ok, however there was little to no scrubbing of my feet which I found odd as this is usually done when getting a pedicure. Following the polish, they proceeded to rub oil on my legs. Now, I've been to spas before where they use coconot oil or other types of therapeutic oils for a massage, but this was not like that at all. I'm fairly certain what they were using was canola oil and it would be laughable to call the sloppy rub down of my legs a massage. Following the pedicure, they started to take the polish off my nails (since I already had shellac on) for a manicure. They removed the polish but my hands were not soaked in anything afterwards so they were left completely dried out. I asked for my nails to be cut short, but I guess there was a misunderstanding because in my eyes 'short' doesn't mean 'non existent'. Rather than moving me to a table for the manicure, they did the manicure in the chair and instead of putting the UVlamp on the armrest, they put it in my lap. This was hot and uncomfortable to say the least. At the end of the manicure, they again smeared canola oil all over my hands, which was sticky, slippery and impractical. At the end of this experience, I went to pay and despite being told otherwise, I was charged $67 because apprently taking off my polish wasn't included in the manicure. Never in my life have I been charged extra to take off polish.
Now, after all of this, I have to make note of the most concerning aspect of this place. While I was having my manicure done, I saw them do two pedicures back to back in the same chair without cleaning in -between. This is completely unhygenic and worriesome. In the two hours I was there, I saw one chair being cleaned and the only cleaning product I saw them use other than water, was windex. This made me extremely uncomfortable and solidified my decision never to go back to this place.
