| - Booked last minute during a time when the Phoenix area is bustling with snow birds and MLB fans (spring training) so we wound up staying at the Comfort Inn off the I-10 and Chandler Blvd. The property used to be a Red Roof Inn and was renovated to become a Comfort Inn. The lobby is modern, clean and the staff is awesome. The rooms are a little on the small side but, again, are clean with modern amenities. There's flat screen HDTV's in all rooms. The beds are comfortable, the shower water is hot!
The wifi signal was excellent for us- we were on the 2nd floor. We had 3 devices connected at once, streaming media and the network was fine. Very impressive. There is a free hot breakfast in the lobby from 6a-9a and they offer a variety of items. Scrambled eggs, homemade waffles, sausage, and then the standard continental fare like pastries, cereal, yogurt, etc. The coffee was actually really good (according to my wife), and they also had OJ, apple juice and bottled water.
We had a great rate for last minute booking- overall a nice property. There's no room service but plenty of dining options close by and delivery menus as well.
