We were so overjoyed when we realized arepera du plateau was moving to prince Arthur literally across our apartment. We were huge fans of the original location and to be honest I was a little scared that with this new, way bigger space the quality of the food would drop dramatically just as what happened when AUx Vivres went big a few years ago. We went on opening night and aside the fact that the furniture was arranged very strangely in a way that wastes a huge number of benches to a very strange alley way in the middle that I suppose wants to be reminiscent of a church (when the chairs at the dining tables could be replaced by those benches that no one will ever sit on....) everything was good. The sauces are magnificent, the avocado garlicky and creamy and delicious, the spicy sauce is beautifully fragrant and delicious. The plantains in my sandwich tastes like they had been fried an hour or two before but given that it was their very first night opening in the new locale and there was an insane snow storm out we will give them a free pass for that one time and give them time to get settled in the new space. Long story short Arepera your food is BOOOMB please make sure the quality matches the original location. Love you thanks
