Mixed feelings about the Gila River. On the one hand, Westgate is pretty cool, and it is nice to have a lot of places to pregame/postgame. Everyone we encountered working at the arena was very nice. However, the arena itself is a little lacking. For starters, the chairs are not comfortable at all on the 200 level. The video boards appear to be standard def, which is pretty crazy in the year 2018. We didn't eat/drink anything, so can't comment on the catering. I have been to worse arenas, but I have also been to way better. (Including college ones) Between the facility and the not too central location of the arena, I can understand why the Coyotes want out.
