  • I was in Madison for the weekend and took my family to the #1 voted fish fry. The atmosphere was great, the beer cold but the fish was not so great. for all of us. And we tried it all....fried cod, fish boil and lake perch. I had the cod and it was like eating a piece of over fried chicken. It was chewy and greasy and the fish was not very moist or flavorful. I slathered it in tarter sauce and left most of the batter behind. I won't go back again.
