| - This was my first time visiting the buffet here at the M casino, thanks to my friend who used to live in the area.
We did the seafood dinner buffet which is offered Friday-Sunday evenings. We paid $39.99. If you get a $25 voucher or a comp ticket, you can skip the long line and just enter at the VIP line.
What I like about this buffet is that it has a huge array of food and the quality is pretty good.
I will list some food items off the top of my head, which I remember (exact name may not be correct):
----American----
Sweet potato/yam casserole - pretty good, and not overly sweet
Prime rib - really good, but they carve large sections
Baked chicken
Crab legs - both steamed and cold - legs are not giant, but the restaurant cuts the legs in half for you, lengthwise, which is a big help!!
Oysters
Baked mussels in an orange sauce - YUM
Sweet potato fries and regular fries
Butter-drenched corn on the cob
A Mexican corn on the cob
Loaded baked potatoes
Creamy scalloped potatoes
Fried fish sticks - large rectangles and not pre-frozen
Huge meatballs
Spaghetti
Lobster mac and cheese
----Asian----
2-3 different types of sushi rolls
Tuna and salmon nigiri
Pho soup, with all the toppings!
Pad Thai, with toppings you can add onto as well
Ox tail
Balsamic rice with raisins
Chana masala? (I think so. Chickpeas in a good sauce)
Coconut Curry chicken
Korean Garbi short ribs
Pork spare ribs with ginger and honey
Thai papaya salad
They had other food too including ceviche, but I didn't venture out more than most of the above
As for dessert, they no longer have a crepe bar, BUT their dessert bar is huge and plentiful. My favorites were the bread pudding, which was like a nice fluffy cake with a slightly crispy edge (just the way I like it!! And it tasted sooo good!), the little shooter glasses of Tiramisu and other options, and the gelato ice cream. The have like 12-16 flavors!! I tried the coconut, mango, coffee, and vanilla ice creams. All were tasty and pretty fresh tasting - was not old ice cream for sure.
The little mini pecan tarts (the small circles) weren't that great so I wouldn't recommend those. The cookies were good though.
