  • I like this place far more than Safeway--it seems cleaner and more organized, with friendlier staff and quicker check-out. Produce seems better here than at many other stores, and in summertime, there are always sales on one type of berry or another. Their house-brand items (Kroger) are usually very good and cost considerably less than national brands. The only problem I have here is that Kroger brand sandwich slims have been consistently out of stock at this location (but not at other Fry's stores) for many weeks--even though there is still shelf space for them in the bread section. Also, the 12-packs of Kroger plain and lemon sparking water are frequently empty, while nearby items (Kroger cocoanut sparkling water??--yuck!) are always full of products that don't seem to sell nearly as well.
