I bought a patio heater as a housewarming gift for my son and daughter in law. it never worked. I called their help line. after trying some tricks to get it working, we decided we had a dud. The gentleman said that was fine, he would send me an assembly to replace the defective one. They did that. I installed it, problem solved. until tonight (2 Months later)
I received a FedEx bill for $32.96. Interesting how they are charging me duty and taxes to replace a defective part on their brand new product. totally unfair. I could have returned it to the retail store and got a brand new one for no cost. This cost was never mentioned to me. He simply said he would send one out, no problem. I am very unhappy about that.
