  • I've been a patient at Raintree Dental a couple of years since our previous family dentist (whom we adored & would drive to Peoria to see!) had retired. This office is very modern, both in their technology and in elegant decor and style. I've developed a great report with the girls & very kind (and Funny!) young man at the front desk. I truly do feel as if I'm more than just a number to them. Asking about my parents and siblings (also patients of theirs), about school and work, etc. I didn't expect so much attention to personal detail from people I see maybe every 4-6 months? They employ state-of-the-art technology and equipment, it puts my mind at ease to know my chompers are getting analyzed with only the best of the best.My hygienists have always been very friendly and personable. They've all had a gentle hand, I'm never stuck and bleeding like a pig as I have been at other offices.It's really enjoyable to have them working in my mouth, considering its not exactly a pleasant experience being poked and prodded with sharp instruments. It seems my only less-than-stellar remark of Raintree dental (and I seem to be the exception looking at the other reviews) would be Doctor K himself. I've never felt like he was very warm towards me, and by my comparison to my previous dentist (who became like family, invited to weddings, etc) I dare to even say cold. I'm not sure if I'm personally offensive to him, or not taken seriously as the one handing over the dough (as I'm still on my parent's dental plan and they usually foot the bill). But he's made questionable remarks upon my personal appearance (hair styling, tattoos, etc) about how my parents must feel about THAT, etc. This has occurred several times over the years and it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth and were it not for his amazing staff and beautiful office, i don't know if i'd return back for him. I don't expect him to say he loves my "look", in fact I don't want any remarks on anything about my appearance besides my teeth at all from my dentist, period. That being said, my teeth look great, and for the short amount of time I've spent with him, he does a thorough and great job, just hope that in the future, his remarks stay along the lines of my mouth and only that.
