  • Updating this one-star review several months later. After posting my initial review, I was contacted immediately by the GM. He was very friendly and genuinely apologized for the poor experience we had at the Ray Rd. Store. He offered to personally handle our transaction if we should decide to come back in and consider Ashley again. I really appreciated the genuine concern for our experience with Ashley and wanted to say thank you. Because of the GM's will-do attitude, we did decide to give Ashley another chance. Fast forward a few months. We were in Mesa for other reasons and decided to stop in at the Ashley store there. They were having a great sale and we were greeted by a pretty friendly salesman, Alvin. We quickly identified the couches we had previously loved and actually found another couch we liked better for our living room. While we went to have lunch, Alvin wrote up a deal for us and when we came back, everything was ready for us to sign. He did a great job for us. It really made the entire experience painless and THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD ALWAYS BE. We got our couches a week later, on TIME, as promised. There was some minor damage but nothing visible and the tech is already scheduled to come out and take care of it. All in all, this was a prime example of people doing their job well and working for the customer and I'll be driving to Mesa from now on for furniture purchases. WAY TO GO ALVIN AND THE MESA STORE, THANKS SO MUCH!
