  • Just something to think about before moving here... The GOOD: -Modern Architecture -Small Community -Central THE BAD: - Management is a hassle to deal with. - Very small pool that is never heated. - No Security even though they claim to have one. -Continual break ins into vehicles and car thefts (myself a recent victim and lack of compassion from management, they just hear you out and that's that!) -Lots of solicitations; day and evenings.(probably because there is no security around and people piggy back their vehicles inside the property on a continual basis). -Expensive light fixture in the unit means expensive light bulb replacements which are tenants responsibility! ($8-10 for each light bulb at home depot and $5 with the office.Also, It seems they are always going out and one has to be replacing them left and right.) - You are not allowed to smoke anywhere on property or else you get fined. -Dark at night because of faulty light poles around parking area (probably why my vehicle got stolen in the first place). -Walls surrounding property have to be painted because of continual graffiti. (again probably because of poor lighting around the property.) - The bus stop is right in front of the property so you see unfavorable characters just feet from where one calls home. -Trash around the property from looters. -Pet dropping from irresponsible pet owners. -Area in general is not all that great you cross the freeway bridge and you are on nelis and Tropicana and those who reside in las vegas know this is not a safe area. -Overgrown trees and bushes make it impossible to walk in pathway areas. -Gate entrance always breaks down which leaves room for solicitators or would be thiefs to stroll on in into the community. -Thin walls which is annoying because you can hear everything from neighbors. -Loud neighbors had to call metro on numerous occasions. Clearly, there are more cons than pros and I have had enough. I can't wait for my lease to end. I am actually considering terminating my lease early because I know other rental communities exist out there with similar amenities and rental prices in far better areas of town. After 2 1/2 years of living here with my wife I just don't feel safe anymore. I simply have had enough. When my vehicle was stolen, that was the last straw for me and is why I felt compelled to give my opinion on yelp and every other apartment online review website out there. The fact is that you pay a premium for the modern amenities but at the price of all the aforementioned cons above. It hasn't been worth it for me and I suspect it will not be worth it for the next prospective person who decides to live here. Thank you for your time.
