This is not your typical library. In fact, Champaign Public Library reminds me more of a library you'd see on a college campus. It's really not that surprising since Champaign-Urbana is home to the University of Illinois. And it has Parkland. Students flock here to study and the library fits their needs. It has lots of study rooms, a couple computer labs and more than enough study tables to go around. They have extra-wide chairs that are comfortable and lots of places for you to plug in your computer. The book stacks are always well organized. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. They are more than willing to help you find any book you need. They could use a few more chairs around the cafe, but other than that really no complaints.
