| - This complex is now over 7 years old. Although the park is ok by Modern AZ Spring Training standards, parking and access continue to be extremely terrible. AT 7 years old, one would expect the entry and exiting situation to be fixed if not improved. The Ranch personnel cannot seem to figure out how to park cars and direct traffic. Upon entry into the complex, security personnel practically strip search everyone, which causes large backups for entering into the facility.
The facility itself is not near anything, so you must drive quite a ways out into the housing tracks to get there. Before and after the game, nothing to do. Glendale's Westgate complex is a drive away, in no way close to walk nor ride a bike. Some may say a short drive, but a short drive in traffic that stands still is a long ways away.
Although many Camelback Ranch personnel are nice, a large number are extremely rude and demanding. This might be due to the large LA Dodger fan base which at times includes some unruly gangster type fans.
The stadium itself is nothing really spectacular. Similar to other modern AZ spring training facilities. In some sence, it is somewhat septic, in that the stadium has no real LA Dodger nor ChiSox feel.
Given the option, you are better off to go to Goodyear or any of the other West Valley complexes, where the facilities are more fan friendly, the atmosphere more spring friendly relaxing, easier to get in/out, there is stuff to do nearby and the staff nicer to visitors. For a really good experience, try going to the Chicago Cubs complex (Sloan Park) in Mesa or Salt River Fields in North Scottsdale.
