And it continues to increase its return year after year." http://www.gurufocus.com/news/196312/hoover-dam--one-of-the-greatest-investments-in-us-history BUT they charge us, the US taxpayers who built it, maintain it and pay the guides, $30 PER PERSON for a tour and $10 to Park to see what belongs to US. That's $100 for mom, dad and their 5 year old to see what they pay for and what actually makes the US government lots of money. And that folks is a Fucking US Government Rip-OFF and something we refused to partake in. Drive over the top and look at it from the air and gawk at it all you want (like we did), but to be butt-raped by those prices when damns all over the US give FREE tours is highway robbery.
