  • I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews. I go to college in California but I am now home for summer... I had no idea where to go for threading so I went to South Park Mall's brow bar 3 times... but WOW brows has blown me away. I was hesitant because of the mediocre ratings on this site but the last time I went to South Park for threading I was extremely unsatisfied and unhappy. Being in Ballantyne, of course this brow bar was extremely nice. There were two chairs and private rooms in the back. You sign in by using their tablet which gives you the option of receiving emails, texts or none at all. My threader at WOW brows was an older lady who was an absolute sweet heart and understood what I wanted. I explained to her the unevenness and how I want my right brow to be thinner to match with my left (The South Park lady argued with me about this). "You want it thinner?" the threader asked me and I clarified by telling her not too thin. Just "a little less thick" and pointed to the area. I will admit... she was a lot slower than South Park. But her work is impeccable! She paid attention to detail... which I find more important than being done 2 minutes faster. My eyebrows haven't looked this great since.... ever. The threader offered to use a "powder" and although I had no idea what she was talking about, I let her. It was a great final touch... The powder was very subtle. Lastly, she did my upper lip which the South Park threader rushed through and left visible hairs all over. Again, it took significantly longer but it was all gone... she even got close to my lip line! I tipped her generously and told her how she's a lot better than South Park. I'm baffled about all the stellar views about South Park threading because she says she often has women coming to her immediately after having a bad experience over there.
