I wanted to like this place, I really did but it just falls short on every level. I went here last year and it was probably the worst experience I've ever gotten at a hair salon. Several reasons why....
1. Check in is absolutely backwards. You need to sign in instead of talking to a receptionist. I was not aware of this and 15 additional minutes were wasted. A "hello, what can I do for you today?" would be ideal. Maybe they fixed this... I don't know it's been a year. Maybe a mobile app would work.
2. It was perhaps the shortest haircut I've ever gotten. A 10-15 minute cut is not enough time to do everything. For somebody who never went to beauty school, even I know that's too short for a proper haircut. My regular stylist takes 30-40 minutes and double checks everything she does. Nobody checked anything to see if it was what I wanted here.
3. During the cut, the "stylist" here told me my hair was too hard to cut with scissors because its too short. I had to laugh because I get it cut every 2-3 weeks and there's always enough to take off with the scissors. Only using clippers made this a horrible, uneven cut.
4. I do not need a massage when getting my hair cut. I saw other guys getting this done, and it just looked uncomfortable, not relaxing.Good thing I didn't go there.Their "MVP" service is just a ripoff version of the Supercuts "Tea Tree Experience." The "tea tree experience" is light years ahead of this place.
5. Sports theme is so cheesy. Their big sales pitch is sports on the TVs when you're getting your hair cut. They do nothing for me, because I can't see a single thing without my glasses. Whatever was on I couldn't even see.
Overall, I was rushed and the operations of this salon were so backwards. It's a ripped off version of the other "fast" salons. As a guy who enjoys sports, I couldn't enjoy this place for various reasons.
