What a glamorous view of Pittsburgh! I came here with a Party of 10 to celebrate a friends birthday we had made reservations for.
Restaurant: The restaurant itself was bustling and busy as it was holiday party season. Yes it's dated glam but still very glam, classic Victorian even...I really find anything wrong with it like other posters.
Food: Anyone coming here should expect to overpay for your meal, so no shockers there. Get the French Onion Soup, cream of the crop there! A few of us ordered the Filet Steaks that ordinary come wrapped in bacon but every single person at our table who ordered specified no bacon. Come entree time, a few didn't have bacon but a few did so we had to send them back. You could also tell they just unwrapped the bacon from the steak and returned it to us, not actually preparing a new Filet. Furthermore my Filet was requested Medium and it arrived Medium Rare. By the time I sent it back and they recooked it, we were serving cake so I didn't eat it. A disappointment for a restaurant of this class.
Service: For a high class establishment, I would suggest the male server not hit on guests, even kindly....that's just not professional. Our main female server was very kind even though you could tell it was a very busy night for her. She should have payed closer attention to the dietary restrictions of the group though.
Come back? - Eh its worth going to, maybe again next year.
