  • I am giving this place 4.2 stars because they now carry the delicious delectables that are Slade's confections. Truth be told, I did not try any cookies, so I can't dispute Sarah G's review. I can say that the muffins, cupcakes, caramels, toffees, and tartlets that now line pastry case are are stellar. The place is kitchy kichy and a little crowded with sparkly knick knacks, but the future of this business is to streamline that, add some tables (to go with the current free wifi), and make it less of a happen-to-fall-in and more of a destination. The customer service is fabulous. Always giving out free samples. I'm not sure if Cookies from Home is under new management or if they are just taking the place in a different direction, but keep your eyes on this one.
