  • 3.5 stars. I went here the other day because I was sick and tired of paying upwards of $80 every time I needed a simple trim. I really do not care about frou-frou stylists, who put loads of products in your hair to make it look like something it clearly does not look like the week after when you do it yourself. The salon is pretty, clean and warm. They had various jewelry for display, and a really pretty white Christmas tree lit up. I liked the vibe of the salon. It was a great atmosphere without trying too hard and coming off as cold. I had Rachelle, who briskly took me to the wash basins, gave me a shampoo, and to the chair. She gave me a nice trim, did not take off too much, and did not have the airy-fairy 'stylist' attitude which I really do not care to relate with. I made conversation with her effortlessly, and got a clean trim. She told me they also do glosses, which is awesome. I did gloss a few times in Montreal and hadnt found it in any salons in Calgary yet. In the end, my bill was so reasonable I was genuinely happy. It made the whole visit even more pleasant!
