Not a great meal. The star is literally for the company and the nice looking building.
I was yet again disappointed in another execution of so called Mexican food and why they think it's acceptable to charge so outrageously for. It's not like you get gold plated beans served here. In my opinion you can't even call it Mexican just because you stuff a tortilla with rice and beans. Maybe we are actually helping to pay for the building, décor and uniforms. I actually was whishing I was at Café Rio since at least their rice is eatable instead of hard grains that can do some real tooth damage.
The seafood burrito I ordered tasted like the seafood was one minute away from going bad. It was just not okay by any stretch. And it wasn't just my dish. I think only 2 out of the 6 of us enjoyed their meal. The average isn't good.
The server was okay in the begining and just got mediocre towards the middle and unhelpful at the end. They seem to put more emphasis in replenishing the chips than anything else, but too bad I didn't come here for the chips.
I can't even take a risk coming back to try something else. Also if paying $$ for Mexican food makes you think it is high end or of better quality maybe you need to try a $ Mexican food place and compare... just for kicks. Que mala comida sirven aqui. No costea, que lastima por querer aparentar tan prestigioso lugar.
