UPDATE - Empire Today contacted me and had an independent local company test the carpet to determine the issue. Ultimately, it was determined that the problem with my carpeting is not site related (i.e., high traffic area) - it's just shitty carpeting and wears down easily. Meaning, Empire Today sold me really shitty carpeting that looks terrible AND there isn't anything wrong with the carpet - it just always looks terrible after light wear and a couple months. Better yet, they assert that they aren't responsible for what their sales people say to customers because the sales people are independent contractors (read: agency law) and my specific sales person has since been terminated by that company (assumingly, for lack of knowledge about carpeting).
I STRONGLY recommend not using Empire Today for the obvious reasons related to my reviews about them.
