  • For starters, I will say that I was very impressed with the venue as it is quite large and brand new with everything I was looking for to host my special day. It was a picture perfect day that was ruined by a staff that came off as overly rude and snobby. As the bride, I think I have endured enough stress leading up to this day and that moment but the staff showed little care or respect in their request as everything came to a close. I was rushed and told to clean. I was not asked, I was instructed in what I was supposed to do as if another wedding was to take place in the following hour and it was my responsibility to make the necessary preparations. I was also told that i would have two people assisting me throughout the day and a day before they informed my wedding planner (thank god i hired one) that they don't touch or help with anything. Since my wedding planner was the only person setting up my entire wedding while the event staff sat and watched, she ran behind and wasn't able to fill the water glasses. As my guests were sitting at the tables about eat, they had no water and once the venue staff was informed of this she said she wasn't certified to pour water so she wouldn't do it. My brother had to run to the store to pick up pitchers for water and during dinner my bridal party and family poured water for everyone instead of being able to sit and enjoy dinner like everyone else.. At the end of the night when all the guests were gone i was running around the venue helping my parents clean the venue while the event staff sat there yelling "you have 7 minutes to have everything cleaned up!" For how much I paid, I feel that the staff should act in a much more respectable manner and that they are in a position to help and not turn it around where I need to help them. I think if you are going to be in the business of hosting large events, they have a long way to go. The level of professionalism needs to rise exponentially so that the next couple getting married does not experience what I did on the most important day of my life. The Falls Event Center needs to come to the realization that they will be confronted with the highest expectations and they have to be willing to accept the challenge. Learn to hold your tongue when dealing with your own frustrations, this day of mine could have been so much closer to the fairy tale that I was looking for and such silly things really ruined the vibe. Just to sum up this review, this is a fantastic local venue with many modern touches that is tainted with a staff that needs to drastically improve on their customer service skills. I would never recommend this venue to another bride, i would never want another bride and their family members to be this disrespected and stressed on their wedding day.
