I've been at least a dozen times and that says a lot because I can't find Korean food I like in Vegas. Soyo comes closest to being anything worth going back to. Service has always been just okay except one time when a waitress put our check book on top of the to go box which was open with food in it. Very careless of her. Another time they brought the wrong order and would then bring the right one but would need to wait 15 min more after food was already on table and we were 3/4 of the way done eating at that point. I got an apology from the guy who brought the food but not from the guy who took my order, which would have been nice. Everybody else is decent though. Banchan is just ok not really great but I like their barley tea which is complimentary. On a side note although we are regulars I only recognize 1-2 waiters the rest I don't, making me wonder if they have a high turnaround. The waiters don't seem very good at what they do not do they care much hence the 3 stars.
Items I like:
LA Gaal Bi
Jap Chae
Korean pancake with seafood
Bulgogi
Grilled pork belly
Marbled beef with salad
Items I don't like:
Fried chicken wings with garlic- very sticky and messy and breading is too hard and thick for my taste
Soon Doo Boo used to be good and I don't like it anymore- broth has become thin and watery.
The only downfall is they are usually busy and often times have a wait.
Cheesy corn
I would like to try spicy items but my hubby doesn't like spicy.
I get really jealous of people who order these red looking soups and a burner is brought to their table. I wouldn't know what to order, I think I need a Korean expert with me.
