  • Before my review I want to give a back-story. I'm 45 years old and I'm clinically obese for my age. Life long struggles and same story of yo-yo diets and complications to my health like HBP, Type 2 Diabetic, along with the aliments that follow with being diabetic. However I have made strides, its slow but steady. Last summer my Dr. called to give me my Diabetic check up results. I cried because the results came back as resolved. I no longer have Type 2 Diabetes. I have done a lot to get to this point but I'm still clinically obese. My health journey slowed because I began having foot pain. Now I'm under care for that and it was suggested I get good shoes. All I heard was $$$$$. A friend of mine who has shopped at Sole Sports for her son knows of my situation, reached out to me and gave me a mailer coupon for the store. The coupon has become my golden ticket. I went into the store got evaluated and fitted. I tried on every pair of men and women's and finally made the choice to order shoes. Now here is the kicker they have a 30-day return policy, which in my case is truly ideal. I went back four times because of medical issues I was suffering with my foot. I spoke to several of the employees each time and felt taken care of. Thankfully I have found the pair that works for all my needs, work, and working out, everyday life. Oh and by the way, I'm worth the cost of REALLY AMZING SHOES. Now if your wondering why I mentioned my weight it is because at no time did I ever feel that the employees where not hearing my needs. They looked at me, not through me. They saw my struggle of putting on shoes, my pain, and my embarrassment. Still I felt as if they cared. In fact on my last visit, at one point I was so frustrated with myself, I was ready to give up and walk out. I began sweating and feeling an anxiety attack come on. That's when the woman to whom I was working with named Penny. Stopped looked at me and got down to my eye level and said "lets keep going, we can find the right shoe for you" she said so, with kindness and understanding and that is how I'm a forever customer now.
