Business had a lot more than I was expecting for them to have. It was a little crammed with items in some area's which made it hard to maneuver especially with a shopping cart. I was impressed with the selection they have but when it came to checking out my experienced quickly declined. As soon as I showed the cashier I had a coupon, before even looking at it she told me it probably wasn't going to work. I didn't say anything because I knew it should work as the expiration date was for that day. The coupon was $5 off $25 spent. She rang up the coupon and it didn't work. The cashier immediately said "Sometimes these coupons are only good for the weekend." assuming I would just accept that answer and move on with my day. I was confused because the expiration date was for that day so asked if there was a way to override it. She then sighs and says "I guess I can get my manager" and waited for a second in, I guess, hopes of me saying oh nevermind. The Manager was much more polite and quickly looks at the coupon and then the cash register to tell me the total was $25.15 with Tax and that I needed to spend $25 before tax. A very SIMPLE explanation as to why a coupon wouldn't work! I picked up two small bags of chips to use the coupon which then dropped my price to $23.85 with Tax and the coupon. The younger cashier then laughed when telling me the price. I don't understand why because I grabbed 2 more items and ended up with a cheaper price!
