  • I LOVE YOUNG'S! I haven't been to any of the other Korean groceries, but I have no need to see any of the others. I've heard a couple of horror stories about the owners of the Korean grocery in Oakland, soooooo I'll stick with Young's, because I ADORE the Lees. They're super nice to me (they were a bit aloof my first few visits, but really warmed up... they're so cuuute) They have all the basic necessities for any Korean dish you'd like to make, and it looks like they carry quite a few things for other East & Southeast Asian cuisines. The produce is quite fresh, and cheaper than Giant Eagle up the street. Make sure your credit card purchase is over $10! I keep forgetting and I have to buy a box of ramen or Sac Sac... though I'm not really complaining about that. It's definitely no "H-Mart", but it gets the job done.
