It's really hard to go wrong with the combination of coffee and books.
One of the things that always irks me about nonprofit coffee shops is that they tend to think they can serve a lower quality beverage because they know people will still purchase it anyway in the name of "helping a good cause". Julia's doesn't fall into this category- at ALL.
Excellent coffee quality and excellent espresso quality. The only time I've ever NOT liked a beverage I've gotten here was when I accidentally ordered the light roast coffee- I'm a dark roast drinker and I still don't know what came over me that caused that to happen. Love their stuff.
Great atmosphere. Books=Bliss.
Love that loft seating above the shop- perfect place to hide to get things done or to go meet with a friend.
So. Yay.
