This short heavyset older blond lady who works there was so rude to me, let me explain; my printer at home was having some issues so I needed to print out some paperwork and went to kinko's today between 12:30-1p. I wanted to use my debit card in the machine but it said "error", it didn't say it was declined, it was a .52 cents transaction so I thought their machine was not working properly, and here comes this employee who thought she was trying to help. Here's how the conversation went;
"Are you sure you have $15 on your card?" She asked.
"Yes I have $15 on the card"
"Well sometimes I have $8 on one of my accounts blah blah blah" she said.
"Well I'm not poor, I have $ on the card"
Then this Hispanic guy went and helped me and he said that those machines don't work sometimes.
how dare she asked me that, does she think I'm poor? Cuz it looks like she was racially profiling me. And obviously knowing she works at Kinko's her paycheck is definitely less than mine. If your machine has some technical issue, then you shouldn't assume that the issue comes from my card. Usually a salesperson would say well let me see what's going on, if it says "error" , not "declined". She belittled me cuz I'm not a certain type of skin pigmentation for her liking. Too bad I've been a customer of them for years, because I won't come back...EVER.
I wonder how many ppl she has done this to.
