rev:text	Discovery Children's Museum is a version of Lied Children's Museum. The original Lied Museum had any number of great things to do. The children could create their own electricity by pedaling a sort of bike with a large bulb on top and a satisfying sizzle erupted each time enough "umph" power was exerted by that pedaling urchin. Another fun thing to do was the photo booth, wherein children could leave an imprint of their shadow on the wall once the "picture" was taken. Like bending over so that only the headless body was left in shadow, the imagination to create these "pictures" was left to the kid. Or how about the wind tunnel, about two children maybe three, could fit in the enclosed area while the wind shifted to a slightly hurricane level and the girls' hair looked pretty bad, but the smiles were very good. A pendulum swung showing the moving of the earth. Then there was the table in which a piece of metal went round and round with the mostly older kids and adults trying desperately to get discs of different sizes to stay upright. Of course there was a basketball hoop to keep everyone busy. Even those in a wheelchair. The water works at the Lied Museum consisted of water moving at different levels and in a multitude of directions because the kids could rearrange the plastic inserts that directed the stream of water and the little boats that sailed along. Then the fun of Bubbles. Big Bubbles. Blowing Bubbles and watching them fly around before breaking apart. A sheet of Bubbles. Being literally inside of a tunnel of Bubble Juice. The new Children's Museum left the good stuff behind.
