  • Man, this place is one of my favorite spots in PGH. My husband and I are little nerdular nerdances who love weird board games, and these are our people! They have a great stock of new and used games, ranging from the extremely popular to the obscure. But the best part of this store? The staff. They are exceedingly helpful and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend a good game for what we are looking for (want complex building? Here's Puerto Rico! want a quick two person game? Try Morels or Lost Cities!). It's fairly common to come in and see the staff play-testing new games so they can give honest reviews. Chandra (I'm sure I'm spelling his name wrong, so sorry!) is our go to for a good recommendation for any of their "demo" games, which you pay $5 to demo and then get a $5 store credit if you return it within the week.
