  • I am what you would call an avid Value Villager. As such, I find that each Value Village have their own, shall we say "personality". Some are better at certain things than others, they each have a slightly different feel to them, and you really have to approach each one from the correct angle. The Lansdowne Value Village can come across as a little hectic at times, but it's important to not let that discourage you from finding all the great deals to be had. Try not to visit this one at their busy times, it's scary for first timers. Weekday nights and early on the weekends are your best bet. This one gets picked through like crazy so visiting as often as possible is a good idea. New stuff is rolling out all the time. I sometimes go 2-3 times a week, which I realize sounds ridiculous, but that's how you find the good stuff. You really gotta wine and dine this lady a few times before getting any action. My favourite section to check out at this one is their knickknacks. Dishes, electronics, things made from wood, you never know what you're going to find in there!
