  • When I lived in California, Fatburger was everywhere and the chain is popping up here and there in Canada. Your satisfaction will probably depend on which location you choose. For this review, I ate at the one in Bankers Hall with my husband and friend. Cali burger, gooped with Gauc, and Gauc was about all I could taste even though there was bacon and mozzarella included in my stack 'o fat. Service staff forgot all of the condiments on my bun, which probably attributed to the one flavour wonder. The men ate BBQ burgers, both found them a bit sweet and had nothing remarkable to say about the patty, "kinda bland" was how my husband described the meat. Fries were crisp and golden but, again, lacked any flavour power to them. If you're looking for a tasty burger with the works for a fraction of the cost, try Five Guys instead, loads of flavour but you'll need a shower when you're finished eating, and probably a shunt for your arteries. Speaking of US hamburger chains....when is In and Out going to visit us? Double double and a choco.milk shake, deeeelish!
