| - Warning: you will be overwhelmed by the choices, eat more donuts than you planned, and end up with a oh-so-worth-it bellyache. I can't wait to come back here. I've already started making a list of friends and family that are coming to town so that I can bring them here too (and hopefully have a little more control and spread out the donuts that I want to try).
This place is super clean, cute, and we saw both of the owners in on a Saturday morning making the french toast donuts and handing out drinks at the counter. That is one of the greatest things to me to see because it shows me that they're really here and really passionate about their business and I am so excited to go back and support them again and again.
Parking is very available near here, with both street parking and a pay-to-park lot directly across the street. When you enter, you are immediately greeted by so many donut options that you will feel a little overwhelmed (so many choices) but don't worry, your donut guide will be with you shortly and will help you pick a great one.
I chose the big poppa tart, a donut the size of 2 long johns, filled with a pop tart and jam, and topped with pop tart crumbles and frosting. It was awesome. The donut was super puffy and flakey and even before getting to the pop tart middle, tasted exactly like a pop tart. Next time I really want to try the strawberry split or the french toast donut (which is made to order and served warm).
I honestly can't wait to go back. This is a great little local place that is fun for both locals and tourists alike. Just make sure you get up early; when they sell out for the day, they close!
