| - We were not in contact with this company for very long, but were extremely upset and dissatisfied at the service and treatment we had received.
My husband and I fell in love with a house in San Tan Valley and decided to submit and application for it after our viewing. Lance had contacted us regarding the application and was very attentive and responsive to any questions and/or concerns I had up until we submitted our application. Once we had submitted, it was like nothing I had to ask or say held any degree of importance enough for him to respond to anything at all. I sent him three text messages immediately following the submission of our application that went entirely ignored. Later that day, I tried calling him to see if that would be a good way to get some sort of correspondance from him, to no avail. I tried telling myself his phone had died, in effort to give him benefit of the doubt, and that he would be responding to me as soon as it turned back on, but he did not. The next morning, I tried calling him again and left a voicemail as we had yet to receive any response from him whatsoever. A few hours later, my husband did the same. At this point it started feeling like he was intentionally ignoring us and that all he wanted was our $70 application fee and to just disappear when he got it. Around midday, I tried calling him at the office number and was greeted by the most disrespectful, rude receptionist I have ever talked to in my life. She completely disregarded all of my concerns, was unable to answer any of my questions whatsoever, informed me Lance would also be unable to answer them, and talked to me as though my request to just be acknowledged was entirely unreasonable and that I was inconveniencing her by it. We waited for a response of any sort for two days and didn't hear anything from him until the end of the next day when he called me thinking I was someone else looking to submit an application on the house! After telling him who I was and that our application was already submitted, he never once acknowledged all the passed time that had gone by, nor did he give any explanation or apology. Even though I finally got answers to my questions, it made me wonder if he would have gotten back in contact with me at ALL if he had realized who I was. We couldn't help but wonder if this is the kind of treatment we would be receiving long-term if we decided to sign the lease on this house.
We ultimately decided to back out of our application because, no matter how much we loved the house, it was not worth the inevitable struggle we were proven we would have in the future if we ever needed to get a hold of anybody again for any questions or even emergency maintenance issues. We are extremely upset about the service we received and the lack of communication we experienced in just two days. Looking at previous reviews, we are far from the first person to experience the disregard, disrespect, and dishonesty this company has for its tennants. We will never rent a property from anyone in this company, and we strongly advise everyone else against it as well. Like so many reviews say before this one, I wish 0 stars was an option. Who even knows how terrible we would be treated long-term if this was our experience in just two days of trying to do business with this company.
