  • Keep a green tree alive in your heart and a songbird may come to sing there! Christmas time in the Bellagio was breath taking. Never before have I seen such a massive grand display in their center courtyard. This reminded me of Christmas in the Park back home in San Jose. Bellagio's Christmas displays are definitely on steroids! I could spend hours here in the courtyard admiring the displays and the details spent on the icons that make this time of year joyful. On this enchanting evening, our party ventured to Bellgaio's dinner buffet on a Sunday night and filled our bellies with delights of prime rib and kobe beef. Yes, you read that right... KOBE BEEF! I had to dive for seconds and thirds for the succulent Wagyu cattle from Japan. I joined my beef dinner with their selection of Alaskan crab legs, fresh shrimp, sautéed and herbed mushrooms, and various fresh greens. I'm taking one star for this visit because I expected the desserts to knock me off my seat. Instead, it fell short of tantalizing my taste buds. I love my desserts moist and full a natural sugars and creaminess. In any event, I've learned over the years that Bellagio has the best buffet food. It's all about the quality of the food, not the quantity. This is big recommend when searching for the best buffets in Vegas. As for the accommodations, I suggest booking early as you can and getting on their mailing list for special deals. This is my go to spot when in Vegas. Perfect for romantic getaways for couples on a quick mini vacation. Leave the kids at home. Notes: - Holiday Dinners on Sundays are $41.95 plus tax per person. - Rooms priced $139.00 - $489.00 a night depending on how early you book.
