  • For starters I read the other Yelp ads so I went in with my defenses up to the hard sale. Though after the experience I think that I may have made out better had I pretended like I was going to buy something. They'll tell you that you have to wait which is fine but then want to try and sell you things while you wait. "Let me show you the nail art kit, do you need a gift or do you like it for yourself? No, let me just show you" Then you'll sit for your manicure. Polish removal was 10.00 and an express manicure (file buff polish) was 15.00. No one bothered to tell me that I could have gotten a regular manicure for 25.00 that included cuticle care and a polish removal. So that urked me. a gentleman was getting his mani padi next to me and asked for lotion after he had his nails done and was told that she could give him hand cream but it would be an add on. In what universe does ANYTHING called a manicure not come with at least do it yourself lotion use at the end? The manager or whomever told him he could use a lotion that was out for no extra charge but I was appalled that charging for lotion would even be a thing during a manicure. The girl who did my nails was very sweet and took the time to do her job properly. However, my nails dried horribly and I don't blame her skill set or the time she took on my nails I believe it's the result of a crappy product. All of my nails dried textured and bubbly. They did not smudge or have any dents from wet nails being over used too soon they just dried with craters. They will try to sell you the products, from top coats, to files to cuticle oil to my favorite...the nail art kit. If you want a manicure, by definition manicure, cuticles, buff, lotion polish just go to Christophes at the MGM their signature mani with parrafin mask and massage is straight up 50 or so dollars none of this add on high sale stuff. It's hard to go to a spa for an overpriced manicure but that is what is going to happen on the Vegas Strip. At least go somewhere and get something decent for your money. The products are just not high quality at all so even a talented nail technitian doesn't have much hope. Spring for a cab ride to a true nail salon, not a mall kiosk under the food court or spend a few extra dollars for a tried and true manicure from one of the spas.
