  • I'll give anyplace that saves my dog's life 5 stars - I'd give them a million if I could. My dog got in the water at Lake Mead and got really sick - we had no clue the water was deathly toxic to dogs because of the blue green algae (so beware!!!) They're vets there but I see them more as magical wizards because they managed to treat and save my dog where survival is rare in cases of blue green algae poisoning...nuff' said! And I could tell they really cared - my dog wasn't just another puppy patient to them. Just keep your dog out of the water of Lake Mead so you don't have to experience this yourself - because even though my experience with the veterinary hospital was great, having a sick dog is the worst feeling ever and makes me not want to have kids because I can barely emotionally handle a sick dog! God forbid your pet gets sick, but if they do then take them here!
