| - It's ok... I don't need the frosting on my cupcake!
I went here on my birthday in order to redeem my birthday cupcake. This was actually the first time having a cupcake from Caketini. I'd had other stuff, rice krispie treats, tea (hot and cold), but never a cupcake. I signed up because I met one of the managers who offered it and was so nice I wanted to keep being a patron. Well, my experience this time was significantly different. I went into the physical store in the Scottsdale Fashion Square, they had only one Celebration cupcake left that wasn't a tree, so I ordered it. The girl that helped me asked if I wanted it to eat there or to go, I immediately told her "to go." Why did she put it on a plate and place it on the display case towards me? I looked at her and repeated that it was to go. At this point, she sighed, got out a to go carrier and placed it in, then handed it to me. I had to ask her for a bag. Seriously? It just keeps getting worse... By the time I got home, the cupcake had turned completely on its side and the frosting had slid half off. I was flabbergasted. Way to be so careless on someone's birthday. What's worse is that I had not even a full bite and the frosting is so sweet that my tongue and teeth are coated in sugar. That's great if you like that kind of thing, but I like to actually taste my food. From this experience, I don't know if I will be going back. Ugh!
