| - The bad doesn't out weigh the good!
I would like to first say I'm a diamond member and have stayed at many Wyndham properties. Let's start with the best feature this hotel has their staff. Let's start with bottom to the top, your maids their are very quite and usually nice, but the maid that's over everyone is fantastic even when she is having a ruff day she still great to people. Alana at front desk is always willing to help but the day I left she had put in her 2 week notice. So you definitely are going to miss this employee she was exceptional at her job. Josh on night shift is awesome he always treats you with kindness and listens to any concerns. Keep in mind I stayed at this hotel for over 2months and was never offered a weekly rate by management, we will get to that. Next employee is Davey over maintenance. I went to him with several issues, the pool area, parking areas, and the upgrade of furniture in all your rooms. He went out his way to explain everything and treated me as though he was in management, really nice man. Your night shift girl which is black she is great as well. She handled late nite issues and the start of breakfast. She was always so kind and very knowledgeable about the system and the rules, she was awesome! Melissa is over the front desk and has been there 12 years. She is well trained treated me like a person and always had on her listening ears if I needed to share anything about my room or any issue that arose she handled diligently and expeditiously. I'm not sure how this lovely staff has got to answer to a racist non-compassionate manager such as Alex. My first week at this hotel is when we met. Me and my husbands are associated with various MMJ Dispensaries here in Las Vegas, NV.
My husband is 100% disable because of his ailments. We both carry state licenses to carry medical marijuana. The first week we had a lot of product on us and that is when I got a call from Alex telling me there is a odor of marijuana coming from our room. He told me he needed to come up and inspect it to ensure I had not smoked in the room. I had no issue with that so he came up shortly after that discussion on the phone. He indicated after coming into the room that I smoked in it. I told him I hadn't and what we did and how much product we just had in room. He said he knew the difference and was going to have to get the odor out. I told him I don't have to bring it back to the room at all and he said he wouldn't charge me this time but said he would next time. He stated that if this happened again he could ask us to leave. So I agreed, I told him I respect his rules and will abide by them. Within 24hrs I was paying my bill at the front desk and Alex came from the back and told me that he would be taking my $100 cash deposit on file and needed $25 more cause he was charging me $125. I asked him what happened to what he told me aid he changed his mind. I didn't understand and he said he never told me he wasn't going to charge me, he indicated that I must have misunderstood. I said I just went off what you told me. I told him that's fine just take it, I didn't want to keep arguing about it. About close to 1 week later he claimed he asked me to bring down another $100 "to replace the last deposit taken) and if he didn't get it by noon he would have to ask us to leave. Well I had to scrabble at the last min to secure that extra $100 and the price of my room. When I went down to pay I mentioned to him he hadn't told me that when he was taking my other deposit I would have to secure another deposit. I could have had more than enough time to secure and it not be the same day? He stated he told me I indicated he didn't at all tell me this he actually told me just the opposite. But again my whole family is st the hotel moving to Las Vegas so I don't want to argue so I stop. The next incident was towels, maybe 2 weeks after this I go down to front desk to make payment and was told by Melissa I had dirty towels. The maid didn't say anything and I stated to Melissa that I wasn't sure what they were talking about she said she got a report I turned in dirty sheets? Ok, I am a black woman and I wear makeup and I definitely have to was my face and if that dirties up a few towels than please as a hotel you probably have to replace. I told her it wouldn't happen again but I really didn't know how to take that. So within 48hrs Alex came to me saying he has had multiple complaints about my towels. I told him Melissa came to me 2 days ago about this issue. He indicated that if he had if been here that day he would have asked me to leave because of the dirty towels they have to pay and replace. I told him this was my first warning and how can he just tell me first time and ask me to leave first time. He said because Im causing the hotel money. It seemed like every time I had anything happen Alex was always saying to me he's going to ask us to leave. He racist and has to be reported!
