A must "see/do" for visitors to and residents of Pittsburgh, alike.
No matter if you're a baseball fan or not (I'm not particularly), it's an enjoyable outing on a sunny day/evening. The view alone sold me. From your seats looking out onto the outfield, you are also looking upon the city -- beautiful backdrop and makes for quite stunning photographs.
Be sure to walk across the Roberto Clemente (AKA 6th Street Bridge) before/after the game. On game day it is closed to vehicles so you can walk in the middle and get great pics of the bridge.
There are plenty of vendors and restrooms. Prices for food and drink are sky-high, as with any other event venue so don't go and be all-shocked about it. However, prices for the Pirates tickets can be quite reasonable if you look into deals. Groupon has deals going on quite often.
On this particular day we had super weather with it cooling off and the skies turning blue after a rough rainy morning. We had great seats and to top it off, the Pirates had a couple home runs and won their game.
I'd put it on my top 10 list of "Things to Do/See" in the Burgh.
