  • Unfortunately, I did not have a positive experience here at all and cannot recommend the Bay Cat & Dog Hospital. I bought my 4yr/old cat here. The vet we saw the 3-4 times we were here stressed us out beyond belief. Every time we spoke I'd leave in tears because of how stressed out she made me. She threw tons of tests at us that she said we could do and had no answers or suggestions for anything other then telling us all of the extreme negative that it could be. She would go on and on without stopping about all of the negatives and then have no professional opinion on what we should do or what tests we should do. We ended up spending over $1000 in unnecessary tests. We went to a specialist afterwords because she still clearly had no clue what she was dealing with and kept suggesting more tests. The specialist said that from the first general blood test they did that they would never have done any of the other tests. This made me feel sick because of how we were taken advantage of like we had bottomless pockets. What was wrong with my cat turned out to not be serious despite the C word being thrown at me constantly from the vet we saw at Bay Cat and Dog Hospital. I felt as if we were taken advantage of, the vet was inexperienced, and she was horrible with showing us any sign of confidence to have in her.
