Great concert tonight, but the handling of parking and people is atrocious. Got there 2 hours before the concert and was directed to park in the "grass" parking lot a mile from the entrance. I have been having knee problems and have trouble walking, but I don't have a "handicapped " permit, yet. The close in lots were empty. I did take the tram part way in, but was advised that it would only return part way after the concert. I waited 45 minutes to get the tram and it was a 20 minute walk to the car, and I almost couldn't make it. While standing in line for the tram I asked the attendant what would happen if my knees gave out and I fell down. She said they could only call EMS and rush me to the hospital, no one would take me to my car. Yet while walking many little golf carts went by with many younger people riding in them.
I have been going to concerts at Blossom for the past 47 years and have only had this problem this year and last year. It seems they should do something to help the older people who want to attend their great concerts.
