Unfortunately I didn't have the great experiences that you see listed here. I can't say it was at the cause of any medical profession but very upsetting regardless. I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in advance after being directed here by my insurance.
Upon my arrival the office was very busy and there was a bit of a wait while the girls talked amongst each other about overtime schedules and personal information about another employee who had just put in her two weeks. After 45 mins of waiting while the assistants claimed that the "insurance company had them on hold" I was told they did not accept my insurance and would have to pay out of pocket.
I explained that I would not pay out of pocket and that it was my only morning off. I was easily brushed away with a list of other Kopolow & Grisgen locations that might. After calling around I realized I wasn't going to be seen today and now have to wait another 2 weeks when I have another morning off.
I have decided to see another OD because of the severity of my condition.
