  • Although we enjoy walking and often will walk the round trip distance from Mandalay Bay to the Encore Resorts just for our exercise while visiting Las Vegas, we have found that there are 3 privately owned (MGM Resorts?) and FREE trams connecting resorts and casinos on the West side of The Strip. We use these trams when it's too hot outdoors or returning back to our hotel after late at night gambling. The three trams are: - Bellagio Hotel to The Shops at Crystals to Monte Carlo - distance is approximately 0.8 mi - Mandalay Bay to Excalibur Resort - distance run is approximately 0.4 mi - Mirage to Treasure Island - distance is approximately 0.13 mi These driverless trams are a great solution to one's travel in between casinos if you don't want to move your car from one parking lot to another. By the way, most casinos charge you for parking even as a guest (flat-rate with in-and-out privileges). You don't have to worry about being picked up for DUI or being stopped by the police. The trams are clean, fast and convenient.
