  • Second time here and I was a little disappointed! Cons- Does not have all the custard flavors everyday (Chocolate, Vanilla, Ube, Green Tea, Black Sesame, Pineapple and Strawberry Custard) I think they only have 4 flavors at a time, no more Nutella filling (You can put the syrups inside the bear cake/cone though), no more fish shaped cake, no pocky stick, very little amount of toppings and customer service okay. Pros- Boba is good, new custard flavors pineapple and strawberry are good, teddy bear cake is good (but not as good as the fish), cute decor inside, stamp card. First time was great- I had a chocolate Tayaki (Fish shaped cone) filled with Nutella, black sesame and ube custard. Loved it! My friend had a boba and loved it as well. Today (9/6/17) I wanted green tea or ube custard, but they did not have it so I got chocolate/vanilla swirl in an old fashion or vanilla bear cone/cake. I should've called ahead of time. I did want to try the bear, but it was a little too bread/cakey and not crispy all around like the fish. The custard was okay, just like any other chocolate/ vanilla soft serve I could get a Costco or somewhere. Next time I'll get the chocolate bear, the vanilla was too plain for me. I asked for coco pebble and coconut topping and there was very little of it, maybe a teaspoon? While I was sampling flavors with the male employee, my boyfriend as the female employee to sample a flavor and she kept looking at the male employee, hesitant to give him a sample. I don't know what that was all about, but no one else was in the store. She was just not friendly to us and looked like she didn't know what she was doing. She also didn't know how to ring us up. The male employee was good. I would come back if they had green tea or ube.
