| - I have been a patient of Dr. Chaney's for over six years. Not only does Dr. Chaney see me, she sees my mother, my sister, my brother-in-law, and my niece and every time I am in, she asked about all of us and remembers exactly who we are as a family.
When I recently had some major medical issues. Dr. Chaney was very quick to order MRI's stat and to be certain her staff got me in as a referral where I needed to go. I have a similar story with Dr. Chaney with something scary that happened to me in regards to a cancer risk last year. Once again, everyone was great in the office.
Some of the nice things that you will find about this physician is she has walk-in appointments at 7 AM, if you're really having a problem so you don't have to sit in quick care. She has a back office assistant, Stephanie, who is just as personable as she is and remembers everything about you as a person, NOT just as a medical chart that is being stared at as if you're just another number. Dr. Cheney has allowed that draws blood for you right in her office so you do not have to go anywhere else, and she is thorough with the blood work explaining every step what everything means.
The only reason why did not give her five stars is occasionally she is ill and there is no one to cover for her, as she is the sole practitioner. I agree with the other reviewer that in the past staff has been an issue, however, Dr. Chaney is fully aware and has made many recent changes to remedy stressed aggressive staff. At my last visit. It was extremely obvious how peaceful the office was and everything ran smoothly.
Dr. Chaney is extremely caring, she listens to my needs and concerns, and she remembers who I am as a person. I'll come back and visit the review after I've been to the office a few more times to make sure the new staff is working as hard and is as peaceful as they were on my last visit.
