  • I decided to try this hotel while in town for work. I normally stay at a different place close by. So after only one stay I would say 3 stars. I will try it again next time and see if it is the same. I get the feeling that it could be very good or very bad. Just a weird vibe with the people working at this place... like they really don't know what they are doing. I had a small suite with a kitchen, living room and separate bedroom and balcony. While checking in they told me twice how the a/c system works in the room. You have to put your key in the slot near the door and use the controller on the wall............ ummmm..... No! Got to my room, which had 2 separate a/c units (one in each room) and could not get either to work. I called the front desk and they told me again, like I was stupid, that I need to put the key in the slot. I told her I did that but neither unit will turn on. She said she would send someone up. I waited 30 minutes and no one came so I called again. And we repeated the same exact dialog as the first call. Then she said "I will be up soon, we are busy down here". About 15 minutes later my phone rings and the girl tells me I have to use the controller on the a/c unit and not the wall? What!? You told me 4 times now to use the controller on the wall. So I go to the unit and get the first one to turn on. The second unit is unplugged from the wall so I had to plug it in and turn it on at the unit. They seem really unorganized. And they even have a sign at the check in counter telling you to use the wall controllers?? So annoying. Maybe just the suites are different? Why is the unit not even plugged in?? Who knows. The room was very large and everything seemed really clean. The bathroom was big and the large shower was nice. The water pressure was weak tho. The balcony seemed like a waste of time. It was dirty and the screen door was off the track so it wouldn't even open and close. My biggest complaint at this place is the parking lot. It sucks!! There are only a handful of convenient parking spaces. You probably wont get one so you get to walk a little farther. I don't normally complain about parking but I thought this one was pretty poor. All in all, the size of the room made the place acceptable plus it was clean. Other than that.... pretty average.
