| - This has got to be the worst hotel experience ever, even Excalibur beats their customer service.
I booked a Deluxe King Room here and they put us in an accessible room without notice. I called the front desk and all they did was apologize and said that upon booking, it doesn't guarantee me a room type, it only guarantees a booking spot. Well, wait... that doesn't make sense, there wouldn't be options to select a certain room. They offered me nothing but a room change the next day which is a complete inconvenient for us and food credit. When I went on their website, the same rooms were still available to book the same night. Who wants to go out prior night, have plans all day saturday to cut into their plans to switch rooms in vegas? Vegas is suppose to be a prime place to get away from home and just completely forget about reality. I also had to wait about 15 minutes for a manager to get on the phone. By that time, I could have walked downstairs and raised hell. I was extremely upset.
When I stayed at other hotels, they would offer an upgrade the same night and I know other hotels offer what is available. The next day we changed rooms to the one that we selected. I had to step away from my group of friends who BOOKED THE SAME HOTEL to switch rooms. The rooms didn't even have anything to offer and it was VERY small compared to what you'd pay to get a better room at Monte Carlo or MGM.
Since the Linq was a prime location, all of my friend asked how was the stay there. Anything good I had to say? Absolutely not.
It was between this hotel and other hotels, and I suggested this one since I've never stayed here. Next time, I'll be sure me and my party will book a different hotel stay.
