| - We had a great time at this ballpark to watch Texas Rangers Spring Training. We're from the Dallas area, and I had never been to a Spring Training game before. What an awesome experience. My girlfriend got me the tickets for Valentine's Day, and I was so incredibly thrilled.
There's not a bad seat in the place. We had really great seats, and I liked the fact that I could be so close to all the action. Most of the seats ended up being out of the sun which is a good thing since we forgot sunblock. Word of advice... Don't forget sunblock!
They have concession stands, merch shops, and everything else you'd think would be associated with a baseball game. Also, parking was free. Free! You sure can't beat that.
Only negative was the ushers don't really seem to care to help you find your seats. We were in section 103, and it's not next to 102... So we had a bit of trouble at first. We found it on our own, but the lady could see us struggling. Guess we could have asked, but we were literally right in front of her.
My girlfriend didn't like the fact that they don't have your normal baseball related activities during the game like they do at major league games (you know, walk up music, stuff on the big screen, etc etc), but it is Spring Training so they get a pass.
Fun experience. I'd really like to get out there and do it again some day.
