  • I would not recommend this company. My Attorney recommended it because she is friends with the owner. She said new management has come in and they are not helpful any longer. We had an accident and called them after hours to advise. We got a new vehicle and it took them a week to get out to transfer it to the new vehicle and cost an additional $150. Because the body shop and mechanics had been by-passing the system, I asked the SH service guy if everything was ok and he stated yes. Then we received a notice from the DMV that it would be extended for an additional year for tamporing. We called SH and they advised us to request a hearing and explain it. SH's website states they explain violations. NOT true! The SH staff is very rude and unhelpful. We requested an alternate place to have it serviced monthly- we were referred to J&R Auto. Their staff is awesome and so helpful! The made us feel at ease every month. If you have to use Safe Harbor, I would recommend the alternate servicing. Not only that, but they make you sign a waiver that if they or their interlock damages your vehicle, they are not responsible. Basically, they want their money monthly and will do anything for you to have it extended. Luckily we have an awesome attorney who took care of all of this for us. I can say, after our hearing the extention was dismissed and we had the system removed over the weekend. I would check other company's prior to using this one.
